NEW Gallery, Becks Blogs
Until the next Serie A game, and in the aftermath of the 2018 bid presentation, it’s been very quiet on the Beckham front. So rather than dig back into old news and unstable gossip, I’m just going to bring you the fruits of our wonderful gallery elf’s labors:
NEW Gallery: David Beckham Promotes England to Host World Cup
Before the next Serie A game, I’d just like to remind you if you have any interest in how the LA Galaxy are doing – since Becks technically is still a Galaxy player – you can get all the latest news + games on broadband at their web site here.

Hi everyone,Well, despite a great run we couldn’t quite catch up with Inter, so they won Serie A and congratulations to them. I thought in recent weeks we had been in good form but we left it too late. On the plus side though, we can qualify automatically for the Champions League this weekend and our aim is to get second spot. There are still two games to go though, so after the loss at the weekend, we’ll need to regain our good form quickly and finish the season on a high.
As you may know I was in London on Monday to help launch England’s bid for the 2018 World Cup finals. It would be an honour for our country to host the World Cup. It would be an amazing experience for any player and, of course, the fans. I know first-hand the passion of our fans and they would provide an incredible atmosphere at every game. There is no bigger support than our fans.
We’re renowned for getting excited by big events and I don’t think any other country can compete with us for that. Every time I played with the biggest players in the world, like Zinedine Zidane and Ronaldo, they all asked what it was like playing in England. I know it would be a huge success so I’m honoured to be backing our bid and we will work hard all the way.
That’s all for now,
Take care,
David
