Would it be jinxing it to say the Galaxy are back in action? They’ve been needing some wins and with the past couple matches, they’ve got ‘em. They managed to eke out another 1-nil victory this weekend, with new signing from Chivas Alecko Eskandarian coming out fighting and scoring on his debut. Check out the match report here.

Won’t be long now, if all goes according to the project reports, before Becks is back in action in LA, too!

UNCONFIRMED: LA Galaxy visit Tanzania for three friendly matches
This is mostly pre-pre-pre-pre-pre promotion on the event organizer’s part, I think, since he admits talks haven’t even concluded with teams. There’s also no evidence that David will be present on the proposed tour, but it’s early yet and time will tell:

Los Angeles Galaxy are set to tour Tanzania for several friendly matches against topflight teams in the country.

[...] The trip is coordinated by LZ Enterprises whose deputy manager Rahim Kagenzi said the tour is part of the firm’s endeavours to promote tourism and the new 60,000-seater National Stadium.

However, Kangezi did not mention date and the local teams the North Americans would meet. “We are still finding sponsors who will facilitate the trip – we want our players to learn from them besides marketing our stadium,” he said.

He added: “We are finalising talks with all teams, therefore we will announce the exact date of their arrival as soon as possible.” Continue reading

UNCONFIRMED: Angelina and Becks Sexiest Advert Ever
I’m including this even though it’s not confirmed and is kinda gossipy, because it’s EVERYWHERE. According to the “sources” Angelina and Becks will both be tapped to pose in an Armani ad together, pending approval from their spouses. The ad will be for Armani fragrance, which Angelina has reportedly signed on to represent. There are lots of articles talking about it but none quote their source directly, so I’m not sure who even broke the story. And all of them just talk about vague sources who’re responsible for anonymous info…so we’ll see. Check out one article for the scoop here.
