David’s Latest Blog

Hi everyone,

Well, we clearly didn’t have the best game against FC Dallas. They came to the Home Depot Center and played a great game, to be fair. Obviously there were a few individual errors here and there and on another night three goals would have been more than enough to win. Hopefully it is just a blip that we’ll set right this weekend against Toronto FC. We’re at home again, so it’s a good chance to get back to winning ways and show the crowd what we can do. We’re still in the hunt for a playoff place, we just have to make sure we keep focused and positive going into the final five matches.
This morning I visited the Orange County Children’s Hospital, where I spoke with Ryan Seacrest as part of his radio show and met the children. It’s always humbling to meet children that are in hospital and their bravery is always incredible to experience. I was proud to have been asked along to meet them.
That’s all for now.

Take care,

David

One on One With David Beckham

With one month left until the season ends, Beckham’s fans are left wondering, what is David’s future with LA Galaxy? Hollyscoop talked to David at the CHOC Hospital in Orange, where KISS FM had an on-air fundraiser for children with cancer, to find out David’s future is with the LA Galaxy.

“I’m a Galaxy player now,” David told Hollyscoop. Phew, that was a close call, as he is committed to play here in the United States for three more years.

In regards to taking off during his break and playing for another European teams, Beckham said, “On my break I’ll be playing for a team.” When Hollyscoop pressed on to find out what team it would be, he said, “No, not yet….we’re still working on it.”

Beckham is most likely taking off to play for another team because he wants to take part in the World Cup in South Africa in 2010. Beckham has to prove to England’s coach Fabio Capello that he is worthy of a place in England’s world cup squad.

When we asked Beckham if he was going to play for England’s national team he said, “fingers crossed I will be, but who knows long time to go yet.” Keep reading
