Beckham’s loan to AC Milan almost sealed

AC Milan lawyer Leandro Cantamessa has given a clear indication that a deal to bring the England international David Beckham back to the San Siro has almost been sealed.

The Los Angeles Galaxy midfielder is expected to join the club in January for a second spell once the MLS season draws to a close.

Speaking to Calciomercato.it, Cantamessa said: “We are close but, until things are signed you never know. There are things that are down to the managers and us lawyers should always stand back.

“However, on the horizon things seem positive.” Source

“It was just that we had no idea just how huge David Beckham was. It caught us all by surprise.

“Now they handle things fine but we were all entering the unknown. The first four months were crazy, so many people at the press conferences. We weren’t quite ready.” Keep reading
