Of course, the opinions are varied on Cappello's decision to deny Beckham his 100th cap and it seems to have become a very emotional subject for everyone. Beckham was ordered back to L.A. hours after the announcement so there are no additional Beckham-specific news to report as of time of writing this, however here is a link to a video giving us an insight to the opinions of the decision and Beck's fitness of the very people who trained with him at Arsenal. Edit: Arsenal manager thinks the same. Wenger was quoted in an ESPN article:

"He worked with us for four weeks. We gave him the first two weeks exclusively on fitness work with (fitness coach) Tony Colbert. After (that) he was with us in and out but in the third week he was a lot with us 'And we were all amazed how good he was"

And also:

"I believe the English national team still needs Beckham because he can still make decisions and his experience will be needed in the big games and that is why I am sure he will get his 100th cap."
