Team to Beckham - It's the return of the Galactico!

Real Madrid's players swamped David Beckham in the dressing room after his winning return at Real Sociedad on Saturday night.

Sources have told AS that Real's players, to a man, hugged and shook Beckham's hand, congratulating the Englishman on his goal scoring performance. "You must play so we win!" said one player, while another could be overheard declaring "it's the return of Los Galacticos!". Capello, albeit less enthusiastically, also made his congratulations.

As always, Beckham responded to questions from the media with a smile but, despite winning his battle of wills with coach Fabio Capello, Becks maintained his professionalism and declined to comment, accompanied by Garcia Coll he made his way directly to the team bus.

Returning from San Sebastian, Beckham sat next to Emerson on the team jet and took in a DVD for the 45 minute flight. The team laughed and joked when the stewardess spilt a drink over Becks shirt. Upon touchdown, he was again swamped - this time by waiting fans - and happily signed autographs and posed for photos before returning to the Santiago Bernabeu for the squad's final debrief.
